The organizers of UBCMUN 2010 would like to extend a profound thank you to all those that helped make this 17th Assembly an amazing event: organizers, directors, volunteers, sponsors, special guests, and delegates. With nearly 300 delegates, this was the largest UBCMUN conference ever! It was an incredible weekend and it will be kept as a vivid memory; photos of the conference as well as YouTube videos of the Press Conferences, Opening Ceremony Speech Competition, and Keynote Speaker's speech will be posted online over the next few days. We hope to see you again in January 2011! 2 social events, 1 night Posted on: January 5, 2010
This year we have two fantastic social events lined up for both delegates under and over 19.
For those who are underage, or simply want to kick back and bowl for the night, we have reserved lanes at Commodore Lanes and Billiards. Once you tire of bowling, there are plenty of other things to keep you occupied, including pool and air hockey tables. Located in the heart of Vancouver’s main entertainment district in Downtown, there are plenty of sights to see around Commodore if you feel up to a walk.
For those delegates that are over 19 and are looking to carry out diplomatic negotiations on the dance floor, we have complimentary cover to one of Vancouver’s hottest night clubs, Gossip.
